Lithology and Thickness

The uppermost suite in Kokchaginsky area, is composed of gray variable-bedded clayey limestones, interbedded with claystones and marls. Its thickness is (150 m). The total thickness of the Upper Jurassic deposits here is 860 - 980 m.

Fossils

It consists remains of Oxfordian fauna: ammonites Perisphinctes cf. wartae Buck., P. cf. orientalis Siem.; pteriomorphs Pteria gessneri Thurm., Lopha solitaria Sow., Modiolus tulipaeus Lam., Falcilytilus ungulatus J. et B. Higher Jurassic layers are absent in the basin of the rivers Dzhilgakochusu (Kokchagi) - Khanyulya.
